WHAT IS?

The sensor band VidaAppTM is a device for performing biometric readings, non-invasively, for people who want to improve their mental and musculoskeletal health.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The sensor band VidaAppTM is placed on the forehead, made of neoprene material, uses non-invasive electronic technology, which integrates electrodes and electronic equipment in miniature. 

The main vital signs measured by VidaAppTM Sensor Band are:

1. Electroencephalogram (EEG) of up to 8 electrodes, which allows to obtain the electrical signal of the brain. 

2. Electromyogram (EMG) with the possibility of multiple electromyography of several muscles. 

3. Non-contact body temperature using an infrared sensor with an accuracy of 0.03 ° C. 

4. Oximety reflective pulse, with the ability to determine in the forehead, the oxygen content in the blood and the heart rate. 

 

VidaAppTM Sensor Band performs a first pre-alarm analysis of variables out of range, according to the limits established by the Medical Control Center. 

In case of an event, it is connected through Bluetooth of low energy with the mobile of the user, who communicates through the mobile network with the Medical Center, including the alarm data and the geolocation of the user, to determine a course of appropriate action. 

In a mobility scenario, the VidaAppTM sensor band can be a VidaApp satellite vest device. The spirometer is connected via Bluetooth to the VidaAPP vest, which acts as a collection node to send the information to the Medical Control Center through a 3G modem integrated in the second PCB. 

For indoor scenarios, such as a residence or a medical center, VidaAppTM Sensor Band can dispense with the user’s mobile phone to send events and use the VidaAppTM Solar Node that acts as a collection node for several bands and displays a GSM / GPRS and Bluetooth low-energy gateway to connect to the Medical Control Center.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

1.- Integrated system of comparative recognition, in real time, of the biomedical patterns that allows to generate early alarms of EEG, EMG, blood oxygen, body temperature, mobility, as well as the autonomous recognition of REM phases, among other important parameters. 

2.- Accelerometer with 3 axes and permanent use pointer, which detects the mobility of the body and verticality, for the control of obesity, the detection of falls and the loss of knowledge. 

3.- User interface with 2 LEDs for instruments and 2 to indicate the battery level.
